What I love about this editorial is the uninhibited artistic styling and wild direction of the theme. It's an adorable series of photos, and I think the model choice and pairings are excellent. Its almost magical without being overly fairytale (In other words, its not especially flashy nor sweet and romantic). There is a definite sense of bond and closeness. Something else that's special about this piece is that it has an underlying story to it, it could easily be something from a book or movie... Good work Italian vogue.

 The model used for this was perfect, as I love that she is "étrange et beau", a woman strange and beautiful. There is such a striking look to her that I think is so perfect for fashion. I absolutely adore the photos of her wearing the moth wings, and with the candle. The picture of her in the corner of the room is just wicked. I wish I had been involved in the creation of this editorial, It must have been so much fun. The first picture with the spider is also a note worthy picture, it's very glamorous.
